Alex Morrison is VP Managing Director of R/GA Content Studio, where he oversees the R/GA content discipline globally. In this role, Alex is charged with delivering an integrated content model for the agency across its global network, with nine studio locations based in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Shanghai, and Sydney.
With a deep background in strategic branding, digital marketing, and content development, Alex has delivered breakthrough creative and measurable results for some of the world’s most recognized brands over his career, including Google, Nike, Samsung, Gillette, American Express, Marriott, L'Oreal, JetBlue, Gap Inc., and Universal Music Group.
Prior to joining the team at R/GA, Alex served as Director of Digital Marketing at Grey Group, where he drove significant digital business growth and tripled digital revenue in less than three years through a string of integrated new business wins, while also driving the strategic integration of digital offerings across Grey’s North American client roster.
Alex also spent four years as Partner & EVP at AgencyNet, where he opened the agency’s New York office and oversaw digital strategy and agency growth, and previously was the co-founder of a New York-based digital content start up. He holds his MBA from Columbia Business School and lives in New York City with his wife and daughter.
